Wearing Woes

September 1st, 2013

Dear Diary,

Not all babywearing days are joyful, though I am thankful for each day I am able to wear Beau. Today is one such day. Beau has been sick with a fever and has not had much of an appetite. He is weak and sullen. He only wants to be carried, again, I thank heaven for babywearing or my arms would be jello. But my poor little munchkin doesn't feel good.

Not getting much work done today, though I suppose one could consider all of the wearing I'm doing "research & development"...Yes, I think that is what I will call it. After all, it is during these days of multiple hour long babywearing stretches that one truly learns which wrapping qualities translate into comfort and support. These days will pay dividends.

No honey, my purchase of these wraps were not frivolous in the least, they were R&D, and as a bonus, they soothed our little man into a sweet slumber, hours on end this hot summer day...

It is on days like today that I become more determined than ever to bring American Made woven wraps to the market. Don't get me wrong, I adore my fluffy imports, but to create something on our own shores will certainly be divine...

Hush now my dear, lay your head on my chest, and be well...
